Mark A Fisher

pi poem

wrote

the day after

I

had baked pies to eat

celebrated with friends stopping by

to chat

about how much life changed

since the last time we’d

had the chance

to get together

the day before lock down happened

years ago when the room was fuller

but time has passed and so have

too many friends and I wonder which

of these friends

still here

will still be

with us for another long year

filled with new plans

preparations for next

pi day
