Shih-Fang Wang

Down the Aisle

She saw the backward turn of his head

The almost wistful look in his eyes

As he walked down the aisle

With his delightful bride

It could have been her

But alas too late

She must not dwell

On what could have been

She finally sees the cost

Of her unconfessed love

Her sighs and sadness

Will always linger

In her memory
